Aruba Trash the Dress Photo Inspiration Courtesy of Jing, Jeff and Scott Hayne Photography!
If you’ve been reading for a while, you know how much I LOVE Trash the Dress photo shoots. I’ve been eagerly awaiting Jeff & Jing’s shoot and boy is it worth the wait! The photos are stunning! Scott spent hours with them going to several locations that included the Alto Vista Chapel, the Bushiribana Gold Smelter Ruins, the Natural Bridge and they sought out the famous Divi Divi tree on Eagle beach.
One of the wonderful things about Aruba is its landscape. On one side you have the glittering sandy white beaches and serene sea, and on the other you have the fantastic texture of rocks, ruins, caves and crashing waves! I can’t decide which I like best – the way the natural beauty of the calm side compliments a happy couple, or the way the rock side provides such fantastic contrast. With Scott and Jing’s permission, I’ve picked a couple of my favorites to share here on the blog, though I have to say I think my favorite changes every time I look at them. I love this cave shot! We see the bride and groom in a world of their own. Check out the texture of the rock - wow!

Goin to the Chapel! A visit to the charming Alto Vista Chapel. I LOVE the treatment applied to the photo on the left.
And there are even more on Scott’s site! Soon I’ll be posting about some of his other Aruba photo shoots as well, but today is all about Jing & Jeff! Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing your beautiful moments.

The pictures are absolutely amazing! Congratulations! I’m planning on doing a trash the dress shoot too, and I was wondering how did you get around the island. Did you rent a car? Are all the locations accessible by a regular car? And were they easy to find? Thanks!!!

Thanks Christine for your kind words! I love that you have the same love for our photographers! They truly are the best in the business, not only are they super talented, but they are very kind hearted people as well!
Thanks Mindy!! I love all of them and I can’t wait to see the rest, this was just a small sample! The hubby & I rented a Jeep and the photographers (there was 3) had their own as well. The places we went to needed to get to by Jeep, it might be hard in a car because of the off roading. I suggest reserving the Jeep when you first get to the island, there was a Hertz car rental in our hotel (The Westin), so check if there’s one in your hotel or use the airport car rental.
