Hello all!  I just wanted to formally introduce myself to this wonderful site!  I’ve been asked to share my experience with you all and I couldn’t be more ecstatic!  I know how hard it can be for most brides to plan a destination wedding from miles away and the internet is like our savior!  I hope this helps you with your planning as much as this site has helped me (thanks Aruba Bride)!

A little about our wedding planning:  My fiance, Jeff and I are getting married May 28, 2010 at the Westin Aruba with 55 of our closet friends and family.  To get the planning started we did a site visit in Aug. 09 and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience (this I’ll save for another blog post-so stay tuned)!  Let’s just say, from that site visit, (mostly) everything was planned, from meeting the florist and our minister to tasting our food and cake!  So from that point on, it was smooth sailing!   Our wedding coordinator, Patrick, has also been wonderful through this whole experience.  Some brides might experience slow communication with their coordinators/planners, but not me.  He’s always on point!
