We purchased these contemporary nickel at Restoration Hardware, end of season 2009. They are the Santorini Square Lanterns in Polished Nickel. Last year they had totally sold out of these. I had to scavenge mine from several different stores all over the country. When answering the email I took a look to see if the link is still active and sure enough it is, and it appears the lanterns are back in stock! They must be planning to stock these again for 2010. The only kicker is they are full price again. We were lucky enough to purchase these on clearance for half off. (And when my wedding planner wanted to purchase the 20 minis we carried with us in our luggage, would you believe she expected an additional 40% discount after not having to pay any duty or shipping!?! Yes, we used them for 4 hours but come on, 50% off already, no 20% duty tax, no international shipping.)

We did mix in a few small and medium “Santorini Round Lanterns” too, but they do not seem to be available right now. (Like I said – we were scavenging end of season and fell a few short of square lanterns.)

No matter what your style, Restoration Hardware has many different lantern styles and finishes to choose from. I did a lot of research on lanterns and the RH ones were by far my favorite and much better made than ones we found at Pottery Barn.

I’m so excited my Santorini Squares are back because I want to buy at least a dozen of them for our patio here at home! Thank you so much for the email! I hadn’t expected these to be in stock again. Now, will I be able to talk the hubby into buying them again?
