These Ladies Rock the Aruba Marriott!
I just stumbled across this fun picture as I was (finally) gathering pictures for my Welcome Bag post. The day we were leaving we were lucky enough to have a final lunch with Desireé and Chela. The were so fantastic thoughout the process! We met Chela when we went to Aruba for a site visit – she came in on her day off to meet with us and spent well over an hour with us. We exchanged countless emails in negotiating our room block and wedding details. And once the deal was finally sealed we were introduced to Desireé, our wedding planner via email. These ladies are so warm and positive and have so much patience, even during a ‘crazy bridal moment’ or two (ok, at least three!). I can’t thank them enough!
Btw – I have no idea why I’m standing like I need to pee! Maybe I did need to pee! =)

Desireé was our wedding planner as well. She is such a nice girl. I was a little concerned for her at the time because it was so hot out, and she was verrrry pregnant!

Yes, she is a doll! I believe she’s recently been promoted though. In her place now is Corinne (who helped with our wedding) and another woman – I think he name might be Verna? I know of a wedding they just did on Sunday and can’t wait to hear how it went.
