Telling your story…
Are you planning a wedding in Aruba and interested in sharing with others, but don’t know where to start? How about this – do you have a moment to answer one or more of these questions?:
- Where are you having (or did you have) your wedding ceremony?
If a town hall ceremony, did you find the paperwork difficult? Will you follow it with a beach wedding? If yes, did you have them on the same day or two different days? Or are you having a magistrate or church ceremony at home before or after your Aruba wedding? - Where are you having your reception?
What made you choose that location?
What locations did you rule out and why?
Did you see your venue in person before planning your wedding there?

Ceremony: We chose to do a private magistrate ceremony before our trip to Aruba (just the two of us and the magistrate). While we weren’t concerned about there being problems with a Town Hall ceremony, for us it was one less thing to worry about the weekend of the wedding and was one place we could cut cost. We kind of like having one anniversary to share with family and friends, and another that’s just ours. The fact that the ‘paperwork’ was already done, didn’t make our beach ceremony any less special for us. I do love some of the Town Hall ceremony photos I’ve seen. It looks beautiful.
