Welcome Bags – Lip Balm with Sunscreen
One thing I want to have in our Welcome / OOT bags is lip balm with sunscreen. At first I wanted Aruba Aloe lip balm, but I can’t tell what the SPF level is and they are over $2 per tube. So, I just placed my order with Drugstore.com and feel like I got a pretty good deal. Right now they have a sale where you buy 4 of many of their balms and get one free (Chapstick, Maui Mike, Neutragena… Looks like the Buy 3 Get 1 Free offers go until September 23rd. There are lots of other brands available too.)
I got some of the ChapStick Ultra, SPF 30, some “Maui Mike's Lip Balm SPF 15, Surfer's Mint
” (for the boys), some Chapstick Three Packs (Buy 4 packs get 1 free), ChapStick Lip Balm, LipMoisturizer SPF 15, Vanilla Mint
and Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Lip Moisturizer SPF 15
. Also I only had to spend $25 for free shipping (Free Shipping on orders of $25.00 or more!
), was charged no sales tax. So, what would have cost me over $60 in Aruba Aloe I was able to get for less than $30, AND its something crossed off the list! I do still plan to buy some Aruba Aloe products but am glad to have lip balm done since these will be easy to pack.
Our Aruba Wedding is written by brides that are planning or have had their wedding in Aruba!

Hi, How did you get all of your favors and OOT supplies to Aruba? Did you ship them? Or fly down with them?

Hi Jayell — when I looked into it, shipping was REALLY expensive so we just packed an extra bag – actually two I think. Luckily I had a guest that was coming the same day I was an wasn’t checking two bags, so he checked one for me. But, I talk with a bride that found a way to ship to Aruba really affordably. Like $50 per shipment. She’s supposed to get me more information. When I get it I’ll pass it along! Please let me know if you find a good shipping solution I should share with others.
